I'm really interested in Reaktor but I don't know the best place to learn. I'm not an absolute novice to subtractive, additive, wavetable, granular, FM synthesis etc but I have limited knowledge on modular synthesis. I don't just want to understand modular, I want to be able to program also. Basically the deep end. Does anybody know of helpful step by step tutorials, websites, channels etc?

ASK/MacProVideo and Groove3 each have courses for Reaktor. You can download the courses as one-off purchases, or stream via subscription (You have access to their entire catalogue). If you do go the streaming route, hold on for a sale/promotion. They come around very regularly

for regular patching,
the edit view is what u have with modules and cables,
and deeper there is core, which is kinda trippy
3rd parties are developing blocks, so now there is blocks, which is much like a hardware modular

oh no worries-
I encourage you to dive right in,
it's not that difficult.
For example make a 3 osc VA with an interface,
and then you will be able to make something novel.
Feel free to experiment, just watching the audio output/speakers
A lot of the modules have parameters that u can access on the left of patch window
Your speakers will always want a low amplitude AC signal above 20hz
edit- the Reaktor forum at NI and the User Library are really great and lots of people are always using them, ie. questions to the forum and parts from UL
