Staying Safe when Selling Digital Goods

Hello all! I am selling a few digital items for the first time from Native Instruments and was wondering how I should go about receiving payment. I'm currently over on Reddit until I meet the requirements to post in "Sell + Buy" here on KVR. How does everyone handle this and avoid being scammed? Thank you!
