For price only reasons, Vaporizer 2 seems to be too much attractive, compared with ANA 2.
But...
What do you think guys ?
What do you recommend to a newbee ?
Thanks in advance.

yeah if you are new you have a good chance not to go crazy and buy too much. Take your time. For your first synth there are lots of great free ones now that are super powerful. If money is no object though I would honestly get Omnipshere and stay with that alone for a while.

I don't know about Vaporizer, but I know ANA 2 quite, quite well, and not only it's rock solid, it is a joy to use. Of all the synths I have (Dune 3, Synthmaster, Repro), ANA 2 is by far, the easiest to use. It's responsive, rock solid, everything is sorted out in a way that makes sense 99% of the time, and it even looks good. You'll have a hard time trying to find a plugin with the feature set of ANA 2 that is easier to use.
Judging from the screenshots, Vaporizer 2 is quite the opposite. This interface is just a downturn, a visual nightmare. Horrible, difficult, packed and messy. I'm sorry if this sound hard, but the interface of ANA 2 vs. Vaporizer is the difference between a real graphic designer and someone who just got a copy of Photoshop. I look at it and I can only think that using it is going to be a terrible experience.

Ok.
I will begin with freeware synths (or DAW devices).
Then perhaps it will be ANA2, Omnisphere, or... the future synth it will exist at this moment.
It was a pleasure to read you guys.

@Distorted Horizon
On macOS, my DAWs are Logic Pro X (for song/music writing with instruments presets) and Studio One 4 (for the Notion6 / SO4 "classical" scoring workflow).
- on SO4, I'm not very comfortable with Mai Tai ;
- and on Logic, I can't "work" with the ES synths, and Alchemy is ok for presets play but seems too sophisticated for me in the "creation" of new sounds.
Is the reason why ANA 2 seems to me very much easy to go with (as @Nachenko confirmed) : beautiful sounding and very simple workflow...
But let's begin with your global advises... or/and learn musical sound design and try to use my actual DAWs tools.
Cheers.

With those stock devices you should be busy for the rest of the year
