Vintage Warmer is my go-to. Also used to use STA Enhancer, but I was starting to find it colored the sound a bit too much in some circumstances. :P

I still can't say what cause the warming - is it the saturation, the noise from harmonics or eq adjustment, maybe is all that complex picture i don't know for sure.
When deal with sound design most easiest way to warm your preset is to use keytracking and drive but with digital synths it's not enough in most cases and you need fx as eq,analog simulators so on,but when it comes to the mix i have no idea what is the best way to do it,that's why i'm asking here...

Warming up your mix is very easy:

EQ at 250 hz: + 1.5 dB :o
free mp3s + info: andy-enroe.de songs + weird stuff: enroe.de

Around 220-250hz is snare,4000-16000hz is crucial section in my opinion when it comes to open entire mix,EQ is ok to give character, brightness,or to distinguish some instrument, but i don't think only EQ will be able to do the warming job.Anyway thanks for your opinion.

This really works? If so, I will try this. Thanks for the tip.

So many plugins, so little time...

I own saturators/exciters from just about everyone that makes one. But when I really want to warm something up, I have found that the easiest plug to accomplish this is Nomad Factory's BT Trackbox. I know it's old, and probably quite overlooked in their vast product line of bundles and plugs, but it still does the job with some very helpful presets that take very little tweaking to get the results you want.

FYI, if memory serves, I got this years ago either as a freebie or very deep discount when it was offered up on KVR. Some others here probably have it and have forgotten about it.

Cheers

I’m still using Vintage Warmer - my first warming plugin.

I also use Softube Tape from time to time, Toneboosters Reelbus, and Soundtoys Decapitator.

It's quite good.

I am far from expert with mixes, still learn it,but my experience so far shows that you can't use just one enhancer on every track and voila everything is magically ready,it's combination of fx and confusing is that once а fx chain works on a mix but applied on another don't,on same type of instrument,so i guess experience and experimentation are the key to find the right plugins...
