I think it would be great to share your M4L favorite devices here because a lot of developers don't share his creations on maxforlive.com (which contains a lot of unusable anti-UX experimental sh**t as well as true gems).
My favs, for now, is Kentaro Suzuki devices. This guy is making very creative ones, especially for modulation purposes.

Please share your findings and recommendations here.

Yeah, maxforlive.com broke the 4000 mark some time ago, it is on 4100 now, that's a lot of stuff to go through manually, and it grows daily, kinda hard to just go there with no idea of what to search for.
And some people don't post their stuff there, they just put it on their website with barely no advertising (if any).

Lines forum has some M4L stuff I don't see elsewhere, most is for the Monome, but some work without it.

Nice thread topic!
That Modulat looks awesome but a bit pricey. Do Isotonik ever so sales?
Also, anyone know of a good multi tap delay, something similar to PSP’s md608

Isotonik sometimes does around 20% (don't recall the exact %) sales with a code they send through email (not sure they advertised the code on the site itself). Seems similar to Ableton's own sales, sparse but they do happen.

Isotonik just had a Black Friday sale. They really don’t have storewide sales very often, though. If you get on their mailing list, they will sometimes discount a new release or a major update. Modulat is expensive, but really most of their products are pretty reasonable for what you get.

Another must-have device for Push 2 users from Isotonik. It allows you to map (or remap) any plugin in free and logical way. In fact, you can create custom parameter banks, structure parameters inside and rename them. A little bit pricey but there is no alternative for now.

Alas this seems to be the way with almost all Isotonik releases nowadays - Back when I first picked up their m4l devices most were around the £5-£10 mark, with the 'premium' devices being about 15-20 quid.
Looking back at my emails PrEditor 1 cost me only £6.99 and the crossgrade to v2 was £15 in 2018 (the crossgrade being double the price of a brand new v1 purchase should've been a red flag the company was going in this pricey direction!). Charging 60 quid is waaaayy too much for new users!

Agree. Most of their plugins definitely overpriced. But many of them are great one-trick tools which, unfortunately, don't have an alternative. It would be great if someone skilled in M4L will copy these ideas as is and offer it for more reasonable prices )) For example, it's not so comfortable to pay $66 for something that Push 2 should capable by default (Ableton, please... ).mcbpete wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 11:32 amAlas this seems to be the way with almost all Isotonik releases nowadays - Back when I first picked up their m4l devices most were around the £5-£10 mark, with the 'premium' devices being about 15-20 quid.

I really want this tool and I'm ready to buy it for no more than $20 but I can live without it until it cost like most of way more valuable and innovative plugins on the market. Plus, there are no sales during the year ))

it is easy to implement me thinks.
there is no much info, can i program the buttons, above the display two (i have push 2)?
can they be programmed as step, toggle and momentary.
automap still stays strong....
EDIT: is preditor 2 still limited to 128 parameters??

Now you can't. I hope Ableton will implement Preditor 2 in the feature updates. I think they wouldn't make a new device for that purpose anyway. Push 2 is the main reason why I didn't switch to Bitwig yet so I really hope Ableton will continue to improve integration.WasteLand wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2020 1:41 pmit is easy to implement me thinks.Dombaeb wrote: ↑Tue Jan 07, 2020 11:26 am Another must-have device for Push 2 users from Isotonik.
