Hi y’all

Did anyone upgrade from Cubase Pro 8 to Cubase Pro 10?
How worth it was it?
What are the main benefits in your opinion?
Did you notice if it does anything for the CPU performance?
Did any of you install it on OSX Lion (yeah I know.. don’t dare upgrading cause I’m sacred it will f**k with the plugs etc)?

Thanks a lot

Well for one thing, I think the minimum "official" requirement for CB10 is Sierra or better, although I was running CB10 on 10.11.6 ElCap without any problems, before I made the leap to 10.14.
I'm almost certain 10 won't even install on 10.7.

I think a lot if it has to do with whether you are ready to move up from Lion or not, and whether your plugins are 64 bit or not.

Thanks a lot for taking the time! First off I realized I'm an idiot since I mixed things up - I'm actually on Yosemite.. lol
Still, like you say it won't even run on OSX older than Sierra.
Anyway I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to take the leap to be able to upgrade to Cubase 10 for the final stretch of the album I'm working on. The projects are almost as heavy on the CPU as they are on my shoulders..
However I will upgrade to the latest OSX after I'm done with the album so I still wonder, do you find any significant improvements between 8 and 10?

Thanks again
