First you determine if it's a good fit for your instrument, then you lay something down.
Then you go with DP. :hihi:

many+many

The non binary DAW community is triggered by your lack of respect for their pronouns! :x

Anyway… it's just human behavior I suppose, the need to rationalize one's choices, or have one choices accepted by the masses to feel good about it. Perfectly normal, up to the point where you stop caring about such things.

Case in point: When I was a young man out doing the club circuit all of my similarly well employed male friends were buying BMW's and Mercedes and other popular things. Easy acceptance, immediate thumbs up from the crowd.

My first brand new car was a Peugeot 505 and the reaction from my friends was near shock. They'd never heard of it and they didn't consider it "cool" or mainstream for being cool. I on the other hand wanted to follow my own path and didn't care what they thought about it or if they thought the little French sedan was cool or not. I liked it so I bought it. I don't work hard to please other people with my spending habits and I don't require others approval to feel good about anything I choose to do.

That kind of attitude in life in general is quite liberating.
