I just got 2 questions.
Did somebody just compare a rack extension to Cubase 10 and entire DAW?
Did another person suggest that PH is wrong for wanting to sell said rack extension instead of improving they're entire DAW that was actually just updated?

You just now had your eyes opened? Not sure where you've been since 6.0, but Reason has always been "behind" virtually every other DAW out there.
Did you just pick up Cubase as your first secondary DAW or something? Serious question.
Oh brother...

Someone stated a basic extension in a baby DAW costs half of a Manly Beast DAW with a billion more features that put it, and pretty much everything else, to shame. Furthermore the devs of that extension continue the endless stepping-all-over the SDK Devs they are supposed to support.
The lesson here is someone does not understand words in context.
Have you tried Vital?

Cubase Pro is a $560 DAW. ($690 MSRP) you bought it cheaper. (partially because you own a license for Reason, lol) And there is about 10% of overlap between Sequences and the PolyStep Sequencer. Different devices for different ends. But continue your drivel if you must.Psuper wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 1:19 amSomeone stated a basic extension in a baby DAW costs half of a Manly Beast DAW with a billion more features that put it, and pretty much everything else, to shame. Anyone who buys an RE could have got the same price - perhaps you didn't notice but I was one of those people. And you sure its 10% and not 15%? Or maybe 80.5%? I'm not sure what your point is, where I was clear with mine.ShawnG wrote: ↑Fri Jun 07, 2019 2:00 amCubase Pro is a $560 DAW. ($690 MSRP) you bought it cheaper. Are you high? an RE isn't a qualifying product for the cubase crossgrade. lol. You were comparing full price of a rack extension to a no longer available highly discounted price for an entire DAW which is ludicrous,as pointed out earlier by others.
My point on the player devices, which at least is on topic is that sequences and poly step sequencer are only superficially similar, even still, sequences was released first, and so got a competitive advantage over the props device, especially due the fact that it had an intro price, where PSS does not. So, your baseless accusation that Props is stepping on toes there doesn't hold water on several different fronts.
But you are being clear. We all know exactly what you're doing, lol

Holy crap dude are you serious? Whoever would buy an RE already owns Reason, which is just one of many products that qualified for the MONTH it was on sale and DURING my original post and they COULD HAVE got that price ("could have" is kinda key here for those readers who don't read well, just made bigger for those board book readers among us). Where the hell have you been? But welcome to the party mate, everyone already left before you made your grand entrance.
Maybe you are new to Reason, but Props already ran most of the RE devs out with similar stuff in the past /coughexpanse.europa /cough.crappy.3rd.party.offers.klang.humana /cough.who.really.cares.your.out.of.touch. But by all means, you're entitled to think RE devs should be happy with these moves.
You're a very dishonest poster Shawn, either intentionally or unintentionally. Oh and the crossgrade is now $330, which is another spin unspun, but updated.

So why mention RE then? it's completely irrelevant, thanks for stating my point back to me, at least I know you got it
You posted on June 5. promo ended June 3.
and I'm "dishonest", lol, still waiting for you to acknowledge that your vehement statement about the GUI's in the favorites lists was completely wrong.
don't get me wrong, I don't want you to stop. keep trolling every reason post, it's entertaining
