Live Theme for Ableton Live 10. A dark UI version with variation of blue & green highlight color scheme. An alternative to the default gray UI with orange highlight color scheme.

It's free, hope you find the theme fun to use. Installation instructions are included in the read me text file with this download.

Sweat, glad you guys like it. Sorry, I am on PC so it's not tested for Mac, but the file should work the same.
Mac Installation:
Right Click on Ableton app icon and select Show Package Contents then go to Contents/App-Resources/Themes
- Then place TXL_Night_Runner.ask into Themes folder

Let me know if everything is working for Mac.

Thanks.

This is now my default skin for Live 10. Really easy on the eyes. Thanks again :tu:

That's great to hear. Thanks for letting me know 8) That was my intention, some more color into the UI but easy to look at. I made some fine adjustment: The Sampler Waveform and Loop Start/End selector colors are leaning toward blue for better match with the rest of the theme. Sample Editor window is a little brighter and the waveform is a dark gray, less contrast. I tried to put some green highlight/indicator color back into the instruments & effects but then it also effect other selecting elements so it's a mid blue.

Love it!

I installed the theme because I thought it looked great. Unfortunately, I realized that in my configuration bright fonts on dark background are a bit harder to read than when it's the other way around. Especially in contrast to the Live 10 theme with middle brightness, which I used before. Maybe things will change when I switch to a 4k monitor. This on macOS 10.14.6.

Sorry, I am on PC. You are welcome to edit the text parameter to match better to your system environment. I kept main text default. The text parameters that I can find are:
Control Foreground = overall main text color
Control OffForeground = top menu, solo, -inf, etc text color

* For further editing if you want:
ArrangementRulerMarkings = Arrangement Bar text color
DetailViewRulerMarkings = Detail View Ruler Markings text color

I made the theme back in January and at the time, I use Live Theme Editor for PC:
https://masters-of-music.com/ableton-li ... l-windows/

I use Sonic Bloom tutorial:
https://sonicbloom.net/en/how-to-create ... ing-guide/

According to Sonic Bloom you can use Mac theme editor, Pelt:

I am sure there are other Mac Live theme editor out there by now.

As jonljacobi mention: https://www.abletonthemes.com/
It is easy and quick to create your theme. When it came out, I remembered there were some missing parameters, not sure about it now.

Also the theme is just xml file so you can hunt down those parameters and change them with any text editor software.

Hope that helps.
