obviously its Studio one in the foreground here, but what is the midi sequencer in the background?

it looks somewhat windows 95 ish - any eagle eyed folk with a good memory able to identify it?

In the first video it says Studio One on the editor window, I guess it's a very old version of Studio One.

hmm.. wasnt the early version of studio one Krystal Audio Engine? (and audio only rather than midi)?

aha! I think thats it!

cant find much about this software at all, but its definitely some form of it. Here's SSW lite 6 which seems like it has a nicer UI and menu bar so maybe its a really old version.
