Probability Pack is a set of five creative sequencers that allow you to add controlled randomization to your composition and performance process. Each sequencer has a unique way of adding subtle or extreme randomization to patterns for unpredictable outcomes. Use these sequencers to generate new ideas, create variations of existing patterns, set up unpredictable, ever-evolving musical textures or combine them all to create complete chaos.

The sequencers were designed for hands-on use with Push, but hardware is not necessary to use them. Probability Pack also comes with custom presets designed by Sonic Faction to show off the expressiveness of each device

Probability Pack is included in Live 10 Suite.

Also take a look at this future (paid I assume) product from Isotonik, "Parameter Control", from about 8:25 in the video:

Great freebie for us Suite users. Just finished downloading them. Thanks Sonic Faction & Ableton. I love these kinda devices.

These look like some fun freebies :tu:

While others charge a yearly fee just to receive updates and bugfixes, Ableton rewards their customers with freebies :D

Super cool freebie. I'd love to see an update where sequencer step length can be adjusted so odd meters (5/4, 7/8, etc.) are supported. Or maybe I missed a way you can do this in the existing devices...

^Yes you can, already saw both on the video.

Looks decent, will try some polyrhytms this evening :) Ableton delivers tons of quality content for free, which is awesome.

The "others" on the other hand have MPE, VST3, 32/64-bit bridging, VST sandboxing, comprehensive multi-channel MIDI support, native touch screen integration, proper multi-track editing, hybrid tracks with genuine bounce-in-place, much more CPU-efficient and broader native modulation system that works around the automation rather than nullifying it, super useful remote pages for devices & presets, automation that's not relegated to separate "mode", etc. and so on... :)

Was this necessary in this topic? Let's just be happy that we get those freebies from Ableton, without taking jabs at others.

And just BTW, Live 10.0.3 is more buggy on my system than 9.7 ever was, so I guess I paid EUR 199 to get new bugs? At least with that "other" DAW I pay for them to be fixed :P

Both the video & link to the page clearly say "suite", so I think it's not even available if you have v10 Standard + Max8. I think Ableton is trying to push more users to adopt Suite (wasn't there a "upgrade 9 to Suite, get 10 free" campaign early this year?), because plans they have for Live's development are built around M4L and they don't want to have one version that is more & more "crippled". I think.

Sort of. You can buy Max for Live without buying Suite but, the price difference is fairly small. They really want you to just go head and buy Suite

Yeah, that is obvious (buying Standard + Max you're missing on all the extra synths, effects, sound packs, etc. for just a few $$$ of savings).

I meant I was wrong about this being Suite exclusive :)

for free is relative.^^
this update was 250bucks and compared to bitwig its actually somewhat on par with content (per patch not overall!). but i still prefer abletons price policy, thou bitwig is close behind. very close, because imo its really the better daw concept overall while ableton has accumulated true monster content with its suite over the years. and capture is simply gold standard for me.^^

I tried this pack last evening and boy, I can't stop! Great way to create crazy rhytms and sequencers. And I didn't even check them all yet!
