Angelic Vocal Pads 5 takes advantage of advanced KSP scripting to make smooth morphs between vowels in the NI Kontakt version. The library contains 6 vowels "A E I U O M", the voice comes from the Swedish folk/pop singer Malin Hansson Dahl.
The only libraries that comes close to this is our Angelic Vocal Pads libraries, if you own any of our previous "AVP" libraries before we release it you will get a big discount on the Angelic Vocal Pads 5 when its released, so it's not too late. :)

I'm interested in that new AVP release, so I've read the on-line pdf manual...

as a user of the exs|24 sampler, I'm wondering why the Kontakt version deserves full documentation about voice-switching, while there is virtually nothing concerning the other versions:
  1. does it mean that, when using the exs|24, there is no way to switch from one voice to another?
  2. we all know that the exs|24 can indeed crossfade between samples; isn't this put to good use?
also, please explain why 18 different programs were necessary for the exs|24 but only 12 for the SoundFonts version...

We will do an update with keyswitch programs for EXS24 and other formats (except the Sf2 format) soon. At the moment there is no EXS24 program with all vowels and key switching.
The SoundFont format does not support that feature so they will remain the same. The reason for only 12 Sf2 programs is that the other format has a mix of Mode I and II as a program for each vowel.

We excluded the Mix of Mode I and II for the Sf2 format because its monolith and would have doubled the filesize.

Best regards,
Lars
