Hi there,

please forgive me but I'm anything but a NI Kontakt-Wizard. I need to turn down the playing/instrument noises of the Carina Accordion. Lars was great and sent me an answer immediately. However, I'm obviously too dumb to follow his advise :-(

Lars told me that the release samples for all the settings have their own group in Kontakt and I can lower the volume for the group I like. But neither with the Kontakt manual nor by searching the NI Website or the web I could figure out how to to that. I'm using Kontakt 2.2.1 but also have 3.5.

Could anyone here please give me detailed dummies' instructions on how to lower the playing noises of the Carina Accordion? This would be great :-)

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best wishes

Thorsten

Hi!

(1) Load the NKI file into Kontakt.

(2) Click the wrench icon to the left of the instrument header.

(3) If the "Group Editor" button in the row of rectangular buttons that appears below the instrument header is NOT dark, press it.

(4) Press the "Edit all groups" button so that it is NOT bright red.

(5) In the Group Editor (below the row of rectangular buttons), click the group that contains the syllable "rel" (e.g. Group2 HC_rel1_01).

(6) Look down, past the tune knob, past the row of insert fx, to the volume knob in the row titled "amplifier". Turn that counter-clockwise.
