I could try to put the mic on top of the desk in front of me. There are some studio pics:probably because the mic is off to one side and so getting a lot of room sound vs direct sound. It would help to have the mic in front of you and reasonably close to your mouth - obviously this is difficult to arrange without obscuring the camera shot too much, but it should pay off.
The room is large, but rather empty.How are the room's acoustics in general?
Will try. Hopefully it's better than constant (adaptive) filter I used for first two videosI've used the Izotope RX voice de-noise vst a few times on videos for work, and the adaptive mode is very good at lowering background noise unobtrusively
