I just took a quick listen to "Drag Racing". My initial reaction is these just keep getting better, especially in their arrangement, instrumentation, engineering, and production aspects.

My advice would be: Don't stop it now, as long as you're having a good time! ;)

Obviously that's a reference to something but I'm not familiar with it. Care to elaborate?

Well, it inspired my next song. It's titled "Blood On The Dance Floor" and it's going to be totally over the top Queen.

Well good for Michael.

Bleeding On The Dance Floor is done. I'm getting very good with Variaudio to fix my horribly off pitch vocals. Was not feeling too well when I "tried" to sing this one.

Bleeding On The Dance Floor

And so it goes
It's funny like no one knows
Could not see it come
Never thought that you would run

I tried to be strong
But I realized that I was wrong
You weren't the one
Now the damage has been done

Bleeding on the dance floor
Waltzing with you
Holding my heart in my hands
Nursing this wound is the best I can do
Watching fate blow up our plans
Bleeding on the dance floor
Dying inside
As you walk off with my dreams
Yeah I can run but I sure cannot hide
Nothing in life's as it seems

There were the signs
But I didn't pay no mind
Oblivious me
To think I could not see

Musical cues
Guess I had to pay my dues
Our two step it ends
We don't even part as friends

Repeat Chorus

And so I say
Goodbye to what I knew
Had to end this way
Nothing else that I can do

Repeat Chorus

Musically, I know I have the skills to write like Queen
erm, i hate to burst your bubble, but you dont

you cant write Queen in a piano roll, and writing lyrics using "rhyming verse for dummies" is not the way forward
And in spite of what you think of my skills or lack thereof as a writer, I'm getting a whole album of MY songs professionally recorded and released by a group that actually makes money in this business with distribution of their music in Europe and Asia, which means I will FINALLY be making money in this business due to my SKILLS.

So put THAT in your peace pipe and smoke it.

good luck to you, which band is that? you've signed a contract that guarantees a fee i aasume?

its not personal, and its not an attack, just honesty

ive kept out of all your music threads, but doing Queen? nah...

why not just do your own stuff, find your oen sound? (prob too late now anyway)
I've been doing my own music, thank you. But you wouldn't know that since you've kept out of my music threads.
let me rephrase that then, ive refrained from commenting

Queen was Freddy, simple as that, unique...

Sorry, no. It was Freddy and Brian. Take out Brian and you get a novelty lounge act. Take out Freddy and you have (shudder) Star Fleet Project.

How's it going with your tranny clothes or what did you mean with "Queen For A Day"?
