Does it matter??? Should i do all my elements the same side delay or should i do some elements right and some left?

Post

They will all phase the same in mono, and phase badly.
So, if you really want to get nice results, don't use Haas delay in first place. Especially not on every channel lol.

So just on like background elements and such that arent taking front and center so its not as noticeable????
I have been using it on my lead basses and stuff... if i check it in mono and it still sounds okay to me can i still use it?

I have been using on every single element in mix XD should i be using ozone imager on lead basses instead to not deal with phase or what?

This is a terrible idea, this is worse then me trying to drown every single element in my mix in 3 different reverbs then using saturation, compression, and transient shapers to get some of the attacks back lol

But you use the HAAS for space, and it's not gonna work if you're putting everything in space, some elements have to feel dryer and upfront. Preferable drums and bass. If you want to widen the bass I would make a copy and have 2 of the same bass tracks and keep one mono, and hi pass the second one and just widen the upper frequencies, I usually high pass the side channel on a mid side eq and that creates depth.

Oopsies... aroundabout from where to where would you highpass the sides? i did this on the master at around 150 cuz it sounded good there for my track.. umm.. and also where would you put the stereo bass and the mono bass hz wise.. like the mono from what hz to what hz and the stereo bass from what hz to what hz? obviously this won't be a "do it everytime thing" but can i have an estimate of a good place to start? I have bounced so many mono and stereo basses together at this point i dont know whats going on, but it sounds good so...
