good luck . They are all on you tube trying to get their five minutes of fame.

There are very few serious contenders out there who are willing to put in the required effort like coming to practise, learning a a lyric.

Cheers

The return on investment could be very low, but it MIGHT be worth checking out a local karaoke night. Then again it might be a total waste of time. At least there'll be beer to stanch your auditory wounds.

Go to a school that teaches singing, they usually have a bulletin board somewhere there where you're allowed to post ads for such things. If they're in school they might do it for free just to get experience and their name on something to show off.

Music colleges? Maybe check out the talent at local gigs ... there's bound to be a music collective in your area you could get involved with.

I assume you want a vocalist for free?

music colleges, local community centres, on the bus (seriously) find a local hangout where musos and such congregate, usually cheap beer and free gig type pubs :) and of course, music shops, theres usually noticeboards.

glasgow is a decent sized city, get out of your bedroom, there should be plenty of places :)

thanks for the replys , i would not mind paying for one but free would be better, just feel it would help fill the gap in alot of projects iv yet to finish, iv tried googling and iv sent few emails away with no reply. i suppose il need to have a look around maybe hit a few bars and ave a few shandys lol
what is the cheapest mic that i could get that would do for tring some things myself?

Post

Behringer C-1 is around £28 ... or XM8500 is £17.50 if you prefer a dynamic mic.

Take a look here :-

She's got a lot of free acapellas on her page, but she's also a session singer :-

I'd say her voice is a pretty good match for what you want.

Post

Agree. Nice voice.

If you could get her on a dance track you would have a winner.

Her voice kinda reminds me of Natalie from Cascada.

Cheers
