Would anybody be willing to make these VSTs available as one huge torrent accompanied by sound demos and/or a SoundCloud page?
This way we wouldn't have to deal with dead links, and we'd get to hear how the plugins sound like before deciding whether or not to install them.

Ever heard about DIY? Why ask for somebody else to do it, when you can do it75ips wrote:Would anybody be willing to make these VSTs available as one huge torrent accompanied by sound demos and/or a SoundCloud page?

Because somebody else might already have collected all this stuff, including http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=177407.Numanoid wrote:Ever heard about DIY? Why ask for somebody else to do it, when you can do it

Is this a good time to mention the legendary "Going all freeware (well... almost)" topic over on Reaper forums? http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=52382

Most devs do not allow that anybody else than themselves distribute their software75ips wrote:Because somebody else might already have collected all this stuff, including http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=177407.Numanoid wrote:Ever heard about DIY? That thread you are linking to is for old discontinued freeware, this thread is about new freeware released, meaning that it should be downloaded from the dev's site.
Use this link to get an overview of the freeware effects listed in the KVR database

Klanghelm MJUC jr. - variable-tube compressor
http://klanghelm.com/MJUCjr.php
MJUC jr. is the little brother of the colorful MJUC.
It's a variable-mu design with lots of vibe. capable of smooth leveling but also heavy pumping effects. With its two gain stages and interstage transformer simulation it offers a very deep and lively soundstage.
The three-position timing switch not only controls the attack and release times of the unit, but also the slew rate of the transformers and the timing of the other parts of the circuitry, that are directly influencing the generated harmonics (saturation).
MJUC jr. is a mix of Mk1 and Mk2 of its big brother MJUC. It's combining very natural, dense compression characteristics of the early days of this type of compression with a more forward sounding approach and more harmonics creating of the variable-mu comps of the early 1960s.

At last I had time again to finish the work on version 1.2 of my DeEsser, which I now offer as a free download.
This version brings an all new „decent“ GUI, kindly created by DeLaMancha (www.delamancha.co.uk), the de-normal and multicore-problems are (hopefully) fixed. Also a few other internal improvements are addressed in this release.
A screenshot of the current version (loaded in Sonar):

cheers,
Chris
