Hi I'm looking for a VST plugin that does exactly what this plugin does (Scales - by MIDI Flow)

https://www.midiflow.com/audiobus/scales/ (https://www.midiflow.com/audiobus/scales/)

I love that it has the filter, remap and white key modes, with predefined scales, all in a single plugin! unfortunately its not availavle as a VST :(

I'm scouring the net to find something like this but I'm not having much luck :(

There's quite a few thing that do that. Here:

An assortment of midi plugs force to scale is the one in this pack.

https://www.niallmoody.com/ndcplugs/ndcmidi.htm

https://www.hermannseib.com/VstLua/

This has a force to scale script included.

There's more plugs that do this and I've got a bunch of stuff on various HDs that do this, but obviously, I can't share them. Anyway, that should do you for now. Also, if you have Ableton Max for Live, or Reaktor, there's stuff on these platforms that should perform this function as well.

Thought I'd restrict it to freeware. But I think Scaler does that too, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the replies!

I should have also included that chord suggestions/construction would be a requirement too - but looking at the above suggestions Cales sounds like what I am looking for, so I am going to give that a try! and Scaler looks cool for Chord construction so I think Cales hand in hand with Scaler will be very powerful setup! Do you know if Scaler has the Restrict/Mute keys that are out of scale, White Keys Only Modes? Then it would be an all-in-one solution, from what I can gather its just for chords.

Thanks for the suggestions - really appreciate it!

If you use Bitwig than this comes with the DAW: Diatonic Transposer.

Thank you for the reply. I am using Cubase 10 - I know Ableton, FL Studio, (and now Bitwig) have this feature. I've read bits and pieces about cubase having the Chord Track and it seems like this could possibly be done with this but I am not entirely sure - but from what I gather it doesnt seem to be as intuitive as Cales and Scaler seem to be - but I also still need to get around to giving them a go...

Just as a follow up https://www.codefn42.com/chordz/index.html (https://www.codefn42.com/chordz/index.html) does exactly what I was looking for - has Key Restrictions to Scale and Single key Chord Generator (and suggestions) all in one (and easy mode for white keys)

Highly recommended!

Thanks everyone for your views and pointing me in this direction
