Is there such a thing a Convolution reverb where one can assign a knob to scroll through impulses in a particular folder?

I recently bought the Past of Future reverbs everything collection (Black Friday) and like them more than any plugins Ive got.

Id love to be able to open up a folder of lets say EMT140 impulses at different lengths and scroll though them with a knob til I find the length that works, rather than having to open each impulse in a browser to see what works.

Is there any convolution reverb you know of that has this option?

That plugin actually even has a plugin parameter that changes the IR. No dedicated knob on the plugin itself to control that, though, so some host feature would need to be used to get GUI or MIDI access to that.

Here I have assigned a knob in Reaper's TCP (track control panel) to control the IR change parameter :

Ableton Live (with its Macro Controls) and some other hosts have similar features too.

Is it possible to install MConvolutionEZ without first downloading and installing the whole Melda free package? I remember this as a reason why I never bothered with their plugins, since I don't want to clutter my drive with redundant plugins.

I don't think so, you need to download the installer for all their plugins. But that allows you to choose which ones to install and after installing you can of course delete the installer.

Thanks!
