your specs for the 670 are impressive.
And this is just pure candy.. )))
Thanks! I forgot to mention that the Fairchild is currently FREE to use as we are in the mid of a tube upgrade cycle. There is a video tut about it here so you can know what to expect

Hi,
I dont see the Blue Stripe available on the site. Is this because its rented out? Pretty great collection Im seeing there.

Others i would possibly use

Api 5500 mastering
Dbx160
Ssl channel comp
Maybe cl1b

Other than that, plenty of love for ssl bus comp, sontec style master eq the brickwall limiter ans of course blustripe if available. Pretty novel concept and somethinf to consider workflow permitting

The blue stripe is missing from the web site needs as it needs a rework and that has been pushed back more times than I can count. It's one of those "I'll do it tomorrow really I promise pinky swear" kind of projects that just never gets done. I focus much more on the app than the landing page - where of course you can see the 1176. It's actually one of our "free forever" items.

A bit more about it here:

some nice equipment
and the freebies will give a good idea of whether the service works for an individual (im sure not everyone needs/desires such things, some do).

good luck :tu:

Even controlling remote robots controlling analog gear thousands of miles away is more responsive than Acustica/Nebula :D

Haven't tried this yet...
but that wouldn't be hard.

LOL :) well, like us they are working within the constraints of their favourite technology. Speaking of which, I don't want to be pedantic but while we did start with robots, we eventually went for custom electronics to do the automation since it was faster and more accurate.

That said, we just released Elysia Museq (in cooperation with Elysia) and it's free to try for the first two weeks or so. If you have some spare time on your hands, please help us find any bugs and smoke out the system :) Thanks!

I tried this quickly a few weeks ago, I don't really like that you have to upload the files beforehand, so using the service takes a bit of planning. Then again, there are no latency issues. I've been testing also the competing product from Access Analog, and I like really how it runs like a normal plugin in the DAW. Then again, it is riddled easily by latency issues and sound drop outs.

All in all, I really like the whole concept, I hope both companies do fine and we'll see developement in the area :)

Ha. I think they all have their place and your service is certainly a welcome addition. Algorithmic plugins tend to send flatter (more 2d if you will) and sound like an effect pasted on top of the sound source. Thr benefit is convenience (less cpu, can be mixed in real time minus rare latency issues, and cheap to own which is good for budget and recall)

Nebula plugins high cpu and latency and all are next level and sound much closer to hardware. They breath more and sound more alive. Its like theg wrap their sound are the sound source when processing music and blend betterr as oposed to sound like a layer pasted on top.

Real hardware is next level, particularly if we are talking high end gear. Nebula sounds very much like hardware but if you do a side by side comparison with good hardware you can hear that thr hardware has a litttle better transient response and the low end response ir audilbly better as well. The low end is bigger, fuller, and more alive sounding.

When you need the best, real hardware is going to win. You can hear on the Blue Stripe clips provided that the low end transient response is oh so powerful. If you are looking for the best sound, this is it. Bravo.

Hey guys.. wow, a lot has happened in the time since we last posted here... We've added analog dry/wet blending and mid/side processing to some compressors, added another tape machine (the Studer A812) as well as an all-tube saturator we call the ADU (Audio Destruction Unit).

This little yellow monster, in particular, is the core reason I want to reach out to the fine community here. It sounds amazing, looks great and the feedback from our users has been phenomenal. And we're offering it for FREE for a few more weeks - so if you have some spare time, please head off to https://mixanalog.com/products/adu and book 30 minutes with it (that's the amount we offer for free per day).

We also have a tutorial about it up here:

And if you like facebook there's an official offer over here

Our gear rack is now in a better location where we can better show it off and keep an eye on it :D

I like the idea of this. I have yet to check out the rates though.

The one curiosity that comes to mind is that all to often, processing is something that needs to be done in context. If we process stuff online and then later in the mix process decide it’s not working in context, we’re going to have to pay more to correct ourselves.

Does your business model provide us with any leeway concerning issues like this??
