Hey everybody,
a few days ago I released my latest MIDI effect plug-in.
ChordPotion is a composition tool that can help you create new harmonic phrases and melodies within seconds. ChordPotion contains authentic and professional patterns that react to your chords. You can mix and combine different playing styles with each other to create your own unique recipes.
As soon as you send your chords to ChordPotion, the plug-in generates new melodic phrases for you and plays them on your favourite synths. You can also export the generated notes as standard MIDI files and edit them later on.
More about this here: https://feelyoursound.com/chordpotion
-------------
I decided to create some short videos with quick tips and share them on the forum here . Each one highlights a different aspect of ChordPotion and/or shows a "hack" for some interesting results .
Here is the first one:

PS: An introductory discount is available until 2019/04/14. Enter the code "chords22" at the checkout page to get 22% off.
Cheers,

I wholeheartedly recommend ChordPotion to anyone creating music with a DAW. I had the pleasure of beta-testing this sweet plugin, and I can say from first-hand experience that it's fun, intuitive, and inspires creativity. Super!!!

And here is another short video for you.
This time I talk about the "page selection" notes (lowest octave) and how you can use them to re-trigger sequences creatively:

Hi,
I am just trying to comprehend what you do in the first video with the trigger notes. My problem: Waveform just ends with C-1, so I just could not enter the notes in C-2 octave. Any ideas how to solve this ?

Oh? This is interesting. I use the MIDI notes 0 to 11 for page changes. They are definitely part of the MIDI standard and are inside the valid range of notes.
Does Waveform include something like a MIDI effect that transposes all notes down by an octave? Some DAWs - like Ableton Live - have this feature.
All the best,
Hauke

Yes ! Personally, I also use Sundog for chords and then continue with ChordPotion. This is what happened before I created my videos .

Waveform just has C4 defined as middle C (no 60) by default... so C-1 correspond to C-2 in Ableton... it´s both Midi no 0

I'm probably gonna buy it.
Did test it and it was fun. If it will be useful remains to see.
When i get to grips with, sort of, what settings produce what result i hope then it could be more useful and less random.
To me it felt like an arpeggiator with a little more options than usual.
