Oh Jeeze Louise... I don't need yet another tape emulator, but I did a shootout of this with a bunch of the ones I already own... Reels was by far the best for getting that "old f**ked-up tape" sound.
I'm impressed.

The thing is, it sounded better than ones that were (apparently) supposed to be able to model broken-down tapes also. Yeah, I'm really liking this.

Hi audiothing.
Before I demoed the reels I thought: Not another tape emu!
Then I read somewhere it´s a lofi thing and I gave it a chance.
Bought after 2 seconds of fiddling and it´s my first audiothing plugin.
On 808 drums, which are quite clean and invisible, it makes them really audible.
On FM bells it lets them sound like a lucky sample...
You did an awesome job
