@Neon - there are some cymbal IRs further down this page, they might be near to what you're looking for.

Hi, I downloaded the KSP8 .sit file and was able to uncompress it.

But which format do the .L and .R files have? How to convert them to wav?

Chris

They are in mono sd2 format. Open and convert them in an audio editor that reads sd2 files. For example, in DSP Quattro (Mac-only) I can Import L and R SD2 files and convert them to one stereo wav, as one step. I am sure other editors can even convert in batches.

Thanks, I will search for a converter for win.

EDIT: Found the tool "sdTwoWav" and converted the files successfully to wav.

dont know if its mentioned earlier or not but meldaproductions MMultiBandConvolution is awesome with a huge set of ir files and plus you can modify that ir with various parameters and plus you can make your own ir sample(there is a video on their site)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cg8RdeB-dwI&t=236s

the making of IR is explained at 3:24

Bonus:you can steal other plugins reverb (Valhalla Shimmer for eg) by creating your own IR using the above melda method

P.S. reaper's community is huge with many ir bundles
Win 10 x64 with specs enough to run DAW without bouncing any track
KZ IEM,32-bit 384Khz dac running at 32bit 48Khz
mainly use REAPER, MTotalbundle, Unfiltered Audio TRIAD and LION, NI classic collection,......... ETC

In case it's of interest I've just created a Yamaha SPX90ii impulse pack with over 1100 impulses across all verbs and ERs.

Celestion are now offering their own "official" IRs. Not free, not cheap... but I bought the V30 pack and am really satisfied with the tone I am getting with the impulses.

If you sign up to their newsletter you'll get a free V30 IR which is a pretty damn fine IR for sure. They are a little more expensive than the Rosens and 3SigmaAudios of this world, but even the freebie sounds impressive.

If you're an IR junkie or collector you definitely got to check out http://valhallir.at/
I recently stumbled across them because I was searching for some Eminence IRs and it turns out that their stuff is absolutely amazing. Their takes on the standard stuff are fantastic and the more unique cabs are incredibly good. They just released a 1992 Mesa 4x12 which I would rank as the best Mesa OS 4x12 out there...I've never been amazed by IRs but these are really good - good enough so that I immediately demoed one of the cabs (the Krankenstein). They're offering a free Teaser Box which is worth a look although it definitely doesn't do justice to some of the cabs in there.
