Unity gain help in Axiom

Hello,

When using distortion fx, is there a way to them to unity gain with a clean amp? For example, with the Green Distortion, even when the gain is turned all the way down, there is still a signal hitting the amp section. This means that I have to reduce either the amp volume or the output to get the amount of drive I want while keeping the volume manageable. But then when I disengage the Green Distorion, I have to increase the amp or output volume, which wouldn’t work in a live setting.

Is there a way of balancing the clean and distorted volumes that I’m just not seeing?

This is strange, we usually do not have such issues. Have you checked the input level? If you raise the level before the distortion pedal, you may have a better balance.
