Hey all.
Loving Axiom so far but I do have a question.
I find that most of the metal presets sound a little dull to my ears, especially compared to the BIAS FX metal presets.
What tips/tricks can I use to brighten up the metal preset sounds. Should I be using an IR?
I know that Axiom was not built to be a replica of real life gear and that is what really intrigues me about it, the possibility of making a truly unique sound.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for the feedback.
First, have you tried the free metal presets pack that is available separately?

If you find some presets too dull or dark, the first thing you can try is increase the tone parameter a little bit: this will add some "air" with more higher frequencies. You can also try to increase the treble and see how it fits.
If you are looking for very modern hi gain metal tones, you may indeed want to load impulses responses in the post filter: most modern tones rely heavily on the particular color of comb filtering that you can find in most impulse responses (due to cabinet and room reflections).
