I'm trying to get the Captain Chords/Captain Deep VSTi-s working in Pro Tools 2018.11 using Patchwork - no joy. I can sometimes get Captain Chords to produce sound by dragging a MIDI clip onto the instrument track in Pro Tools. However the VSTis do not seem to get playback start/stop/pause signals from the host. Basically - they don't do anything. The VSTi-s work fine in other hosts.
I'm posting this here hoping someone knows the 'trick' to getting these VSTi-s working in PT?

Are you using the instrument version of PatchWork? The effect version can host VSTis too, but as explained here it will be bypassed automatically by Pro Tools and will not produce any sound when fed with silence.
