So Fortin paired up with Neural DSP and is going to release the Fortin Namelss Amp Suite plugin pretty soon:

This includes the Fortin Meshuggah signature amp and the pedals that he makes. I'm still struggling a bit to find a high gain metal tone in Axiom that I really like. For reference, here are some vague specs of the amp:
https://www.fortinamps.com/product/mesh-amp/
  • 2-EL34, 3-12ax7 Tungsol reissue
    NOS LCRs UK capacitors
Recipe of Orange Drops/Philips Mustards/Lemco Dogbones/Siemens Foil Capacitors
Custom wound Heyboer Transformers, M6 steel laminations, Triple varnished, Custom fabricated mounting brackets, Self-lead secondary wires
So after watching the demo/review video, and knowing some of the specs of the amp being modeled, can anyone recommend a starting point in Axiom to achieve something similar? Also, Meshuggah used Randall Satan amps on their older albums before they switched to Fortin.

Thanks for the suggestion. We are working on a couple of preset examples that should sound similar! Keep connected!

Fantastic!

I was going to see what kind of results I could get with doing a FreqAnalyst eq curve capture of the amp head in the plugin and go from there. :)

Yes that's indeed one way to do it (mainly for the post filter)

FWIW, one more example of some excellent modern heavy metal tone: The Victory Kraken.

Skip to 11:35 where Rabea talks about the bass focus switch on this amplifier so that it interacts with extended range guitars better by maintaining tightness in the lower frequencies, following shortly with a full mix example of that sound.

This is definitely in the range of what I'm looking for. Many thanks! :D
