Hello,

I know some synthesizers. What are the resources to learn Zynaddsubfx in depth ? There are videos by Paul and Unfa which are on my list. Anything else ? Any written material ?

Cheers.

The Zyn project is looking to expand written documentation if you're interested, the current docs can be (mostly) found at http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/support.html

Thanks. It adds a bit of info about Zyn. I find that Zyn has a lot of subtle and rich sonic capabilities just by 'turning a frew knobs here and there'. Unfortunately getting into the concepts used, the terminology used, is something else. The diagrams and previous documentation links will help.

The main Zyn page has a list of pieces made " by integrating ZynAddSubFX with their collection of synths, samples, and effects". Here's one I made using only Zyn (+ drums). Feel free to add it to the list if you wish. Cheers.

Yep, there's a lot of moving parts. So far I've tried to integrate visualizations which you can see by clicking on the "general" tab in add/pad/sub synth. There's still a ton of normal documentation and inline hinting which needs to be done in Zyn to improve usability though.

Per the soundcloud link, I've got a private(?) list of songs which I was planning on rotating out on the main page from time to time. Your song might have been on the list, but I can't check at the moment as soundcloud seems to be causing the web browser installed on this machine to crash.
