Thought I'd have a bit of fun and record some of the "noise" made with a 1970s Telefunken german shortwave radio. This is the raw output so no further processing was done to this. It was recorded into a zoom h5 as a 24bit/48khz wave.

Feel free to download and use for whatever. It's only in Mono due to the speaker output being Mono so there is no stereo version of this. If people like this kind of stuff I'll upload more.

This is great material for integrating it into some iconic pieces of Karlheinz Stockhausen like "Kurzwellen". Nowadays its getting more and more difficult to get that 70's shortwave soundworld... Keep them coming...

Not a working one right now. I recently found an old Lafayette BCR-101 6-band communications receiver which needs a bit of fixing before i can use it. However if and when I can find a manual on how to fix this thing I'll try to set this up properly to see what kind of weird channels I can find.

I also probably need to look into getting an antennae for my roof..
