Unfortunately i cannot see which sample causes it, because once it crashes there's no way to open it again without crashing. But will try again later, thanx.marvotron wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 10:25 am If you can identify any particular samples which are causing issues please send them to support@adsrsounds.com
There's no general issues with either long samples or large sample sample banks that we are aware of so any details you can provide will help us fix it. thanks.

Could it be a sample type or other file type (visible or hidden) that's crashing it? Are the files protected in some way? Should be easy enough to uncover by a process of elimination.
1) Remove everything from the folder. Does it still crash? If it's ok, then the folder is ok.
2) Put all REX files (for example) back into the folder. Does it still crash? Etc ...

If you contact support anyway we can get you to send us your database and log files. We should be able to get an idea from there.dionenoid wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 11:35 amUnfortunately i cannot see which sample causes it, because once it crashes there's no way to open it again without crashing. Just say you have a crash bug and you were told to gather your data files.
Thanks

please rex/rx2/recycle support!!
UVI has no databasing and cubase's own media bay laughably still doesn't play rex at project tempo.
you'd be in a class of your own.

In the tags search, if you have 'AND' selected for the search, and you select one tag, it would be great if all the greyed out tag names are hidden so you don't have to look through as much tags in the list. Only the selectable white tags should show.

+1 for the idea SHall1001 had above about showing length (most useful) and/or filesize (less useful but still nice to have) in the list. other than that, amazing plugin, thanks!

Is there any way to read out the database? It would be nice to get the tags as *.txt file. If not this would be a nice feature. Like export database to *.txt or *.xls or something. Anyway thanks for this nice tool.

Length is coming in the next update.
As for the tags, the sqlite database file is open for reading so if you're keen and have the skills or willing to learn you can export whatever you like.
The adsr.db3 file is in ~/Library/Application Support/ADSR on mac or %APPDATA%/ADSR on windows.
Just make a backup first and be aware that we can't offer official support for anything you do with the database.
But I am a firm believer in being able to make your own tools to do specialised jobs, so whilst the app is not open source, the data is open and the db schema is straightforward. Good luck.

Thanks I took a look inside the database (via DB Browser for SQLite). Let's see what I'm able to do In fact it seems that I need to export 'file_tags' and to link the 'tag_names' somehow to 'tag_id' to get an proper export. But yeah let's see.marvotron wrote: ↑Thu Oct 17, 2019 12:53 pm Length is coming in the next update.

Another FR: Any way to exclude a folder within a folder in future updates?
Thanks

yeah, you got the idea. tag_id is the id in the tag_names table.
how do you mean exclude a folder?
at the scanning / tagging stage or from a results set when searching?

Let's say the folder structure is
Recordings
-> Drums
-> Noise
-> Animals
-> Misc
I would like to exclude 'Misc' from the whole database (so no scanning)

It would be also good to see the path in the overview beside Type, BPM, Key, Tags. Maybe also an option to find/see duplicates.
Edit: When this may get implemented this is my ultimate solution for managing my samples. And it's free! (Of course an *.txt export would be great [see my post above] but there is a maybe workaround). Thanks for this whoever is involved.

To make it easier: My wishlist:
- see pathname of the sample
rename samples
delete samples
show duplicates
collapse taglist
