Sampleism

Sampleism develops it's own independent libraries but also plays host to loads of other developers that you may not have heard of. Sampleism also allows any budding sample developer to create a free account and use the Sampleism platform to sell their creations.

I can't really list all the developers using Sampleism here but there are some real 'under-the-radar' talented folk using the service.

You can find a list of developers here

Added Sampleism as a producer.

I will look at the list of producers for which Sampleism is a distributor. Some of them are already listed as producers (will add the rest when I find more time). :)

I don't believe that a list like this has any value if you permit developers or those who distribute/sell a developers libraries or VSTs to submit themselves. Don't get me wrong, no offense to those developers (some whose libraries I own) -- I'm not saying or implying anything negative about them or their integrity, just that your list really becomes a mere duplicate of what already exists in abundance on the Net -- including KVR's own database -- and misses the opportunity to reflect an objective customer as the reference point. A list of third-party recommended developers would be of value and would differentiate the list from the thousands of lists and links of developers that already exist.

Consequently, if you are interested in making a truly valuable list, I'd suggest that you keep recommendations limited to unaffiliated and uncompensated parties only. To make it even more valuable consider adding the name of the KVRers who recommended a developer next to that developer's name in your original post you are updating to reflect all of the recommended developers. If this were the case, a KVRer viewing the list could quickly see if any of his/her peers have recommended a developer of interest.

[EDIT: Inserted the word "peers," which was accidentally omitted.]

First, there is no such list on the net (let alone "abundance" of it). I've seen a lot of them -- most of them haven't been updated in the last 8-15 years, or they contain mostly free stuff, or only VSTi, or only selected genres, etc. So, to my best knowledge, this is the only list of its kind on the net, which is most complete and most up to date.

Second, regarding your comments on not allowing suggestions for addition by the producers themselves -- I don't see why. There's nothing wrong about that -- I welcome them. In fact they are more helpful than most of the other forum members here who just lurk or criticize (none of the members even thanked me for the days of the hard work I put into creating this list and for posting it here for free for them to use -- but I don't regret it, thanks to the producers who suggest themselves the list keeps growing and I learn about new wonderful stuff this way).

As for filtering based on quality, I have already written about it in this thread. I do not filter based on quality with the only exception for obvious low-quality crap. If anyone knows any of the listed items to be obvious crap, suggest it for deletion. See my posts for more information.

And thanks to everyone who helped! :)
