EDIT: I'm deleting my original post here, because there is a simpler reason to not include non-sample-based ("analogue") virtual instruments and patches for them here:hollowsun wrote:You are, but that definition, precluding yourself from a wealth of library which exploits Kontakt's comprehensive synth engine especially when the GUI is suitably scripted to take advantage of it.Xleth wrote:Also, a very short waveform, such as square or sine, isn't a real sample to me; so this excludes an entire range of analogue-like instruments.
A library shouldn't be judged by its size or content but by its sonic capabilities.
Cheers,
Stephen
This forum section is called "Samples, Sampling and Sample Libraries". Therefore, such instruments would be off-topic.
(Nonetheless, I do realize that various types of FM-synthesis are capable of producing very interesting and rich sounds with great expressiveness and modulation possibilities, even though the patch file size is small.)

I had been aware of that sticky thread but its content doesn't appear to match my criteria. Maybe I didn't look properly though.Kriminal wrote:http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=37272

I wish I were you. I hope you also have enough space to set up your own server because you're going to need hundreds of hard drives to fit all those libraries.Xleth wrote: I have quite a lot of money and I decided I want to have a copy of each good commercial sample library and sample-based virtual instrument that has ever been released, in all genres.
A few others not on your list (not sure if they meet all your criteria):
8Dio
http://8dio.com/
Check out their Legacy Grand Piano, their Bazantar, their Alien Drum and their Forgotten Voices Vocal collection
Ilya Efimov
http://www.ilyaefimov.com/
Some of the best steel string and nylon string acoustic guitar samples ever
Gospel Musicians

The Neo-Soul Keys is one of the best (if not the best) Electric Piano sample libraries out there. Don't know if he does anything else though.
