Where oh where can I find the current download link. Really would like to try this bass. Thanks.

All the links for getting the bass are at the top of this post posted by Project16.

You have to put it all together. He has it all in sections or segments.

I assume whoever Project16 is. If he or she is still monitoring these posts, they can probably tell you that. I do not know.

take care,

User AKJ was kind enough to pull the patches/scripts together... He described what he used here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 26#4928426
You need to limit that rez, bro.

Has anyone else experienced this? When I try to insert this bass into a instance of Kontakt that already exists in a project,it doesn't load, Kontakt freezes (not responding), and takes Reaper down with it. If I insert a second instance of Kontakt into the same project, and insert the Rickenbacker, it works as it should. It doesn't matter whether I'm in 32 bit or 64 bit. I could work around this by using an extra instance of Kontakt, but I would like to know why this happens. Thanks, like the bass a lot. Milt.

it really would be interesting to hear how it compares sound-wise to the Scarbee Rickenbacker. Does anyone have both? What is your impression?

I just wanted to shoot a quick thanks to the original poster and their samples; I had been searching for HOURS for some Slap Bass samples. Thanks a ton.

First of all I would like to say that you have a great piece of equipment there Rickenbacker is known to build very high quality bass guitars, whats is the year of pruduction for this piece of art ?

Secondly very nice samples there, I do really enjoy them It's like the authentic instrument, thank you very much.

Hello all!

Thank you all for your interest in this project!
I've been away for quite personal reasons and I did not follow the thread.

To answer and if I understand it is a 4001 model 1971.

For information I started a new version with better sampling of this sound bank much fuller bass and better organized and of course all the notes of the handle (on three chromatic octaves) with three combinations possible of piskups and hammers, pops, ghosts notes, slides, etc ... and all samples in 48000 khz.

Regards!

Ooh... can't wait to try you new stuff... and thanks again for all the extra effort!

Hi everyone!

I finished the first two joints of my new bank, which should be available by the end of the year.
Everything has been sampled in five velocity layers with three round robin cycles and the ghost notes.
It remains for me to do the slides and patches "mute and slapped."
The bank is the format for sfz sforzando with keyswitch and currently has 3456 samples 24 bit - 48 khz (which should give ~ 7000 samples faith completed)
Here are the sound samples with the various positions of pickups and tone controls (bass - treble) on bass.
