I haven't checked through these thoroughly (i.e., they looked OK "on the surface"), so if anybody sees anything warezy/illegal let me know and I will remove links as necessary.

just to let you guys know, the [warez link removed] refills are warez. there ripped from such dnb refills as drum and base interface, and jungle warfare among others

Re: The Machinedrum samples, if they're worth the large download or not, most of the files are like one drum, played over and over while the guy tunes it and modifies it.

So far they sound fairly dull to me, I might take a few minutes to turn it all into one-shots, or it may just be dull.

Here's an Elektron Machinedrum sample source-haven't heard it yet, but the site looks cool, there are also other sample packs there.

My question was going to be: "Which one of these links is the best?"

-but then I realized that's a tough question, so,

"Which one of these is the best for real kick drums?"

-(but that might still be asking too much, I'm just asking in case someone knows off the top of their head).

Whenever I download a free pack I usually go through the files right away and keep the best 3-10 samples from the whole pack, then I delete the rest. I'm trying to prevent from having a huge drum library.

well... be warned in the list there are many terrabytes of samples. i do think i remember a familiar link with maybe some real kick? let me take a look.

Thank you very much! I want to download these, but if I did, it would be my first time I knowingly used uncleared(?) copyrighted audio material. Have any artists ever sued someone for sampling a drum hit? I would hope not.

Very Cool! Saves me a lot of time rather than sampling all my old Disco-Funk Records which I pretty much have already done but there is some New and Unique stuff in this collection.

On the FAQ page it says:
"Present content is produced by me (Cyberworm) personally and is royalty-free (except breakbeats page)."
Still I'll send an email just to be sure. I'm sure at some point I'm going to want to cross the threshold into sampling my own drum hits (since just about everyone does it).
