BVKER wrote: Fri Feb 01, 2019 5:59 pm So since Numanoid posted Sonic Bloom's free Mellotron samples, I though you guys may also appreciate my free Mellotron Serum presets:

https://bvker.com/free-mellotron-presets-for-serum/

I've layered some samples, imported them as wavetables & noises, adjusted some parameters and added a little bit of processing. The results doesn't sound exactly like the original Mellotron, but I'm quite happy with the presets. Enjoy!
Amazing job! I see it's supportware (you have to follow in Soundcloud, etc.) providing a direct link download would be appreciated, cheers!

oh, so you wont support someone who is giving something away free with a simple follow?

oh the irony

Lite version of a nice drumkit here which works in the free Kontakt 6 player. Oriented towards the ard rokk/metel end of the spectrum, but very nice for a cut down version - fully useable, and will be useful for those who want a good rokk kit only occasionally.

Not sure how long these will be free but Reverb is offering all 53 of its sample packs of vintage drum machines for free. You can grab the complete collection at http://bit.ly/Reverb-Drum-Machines-Complete-Collection or download individual packs. Note that the zip file needs something like 7-zip to unzip on Windows (regular Windows unzip doesn't seem to work).

I'm working on a free version of sfz sampler, I'll try to add soundfont compatibility. The real difference is that it will be a large area to program in patches. Everything from loop points to ahdsr will be available to program.

It will also have the option of making a new format while still being compatible with .sfz
The only question which arises is sample loop points. I can make it so that loop points can be over-ridden within the program. And that may be something with which it is best to make a duplicate wav file.

I suppose that could be a setting.

Here's a youtube video showing my work on this new sampler:

My other free stuff is here:

BTW, sampler would be free, the upgrade would contain a great deal of patches, and further patches can be purchased.

Very interested in this! : ) I'm personally in that middle area where I can't justify anything in the range of Kontakt for the amount I use sampled instruments, but been fairly turned off by the interfaces and odd laboriousness and quirks of free and very inexpensive sample patch players, and I'm not aware of any middle ground that still earns its cost for occasional and random use. Looking forward to your announcements on this! Hoping there will be an OS X version.
