Not sure about leaving dialog while removing music. I remove it all and replace with sound Fx

Russell Grand wrote: Sat Jan 18, 2020 11:46 pm No idea, OP, but it'd be great to have a resource for something like that. However, I highly doubt anyone has taken the time to remove film scores and uploaded them online. I generally just remove all of a movie's sound when messing about with my own score, so I basically just end up with a long music video.
i will try that but id like to have the talking in it tbh
I get it, I'd prefer that as well...

Same here, CrystalWiz, but I do understand his wanting to have the audio minus the score; I've been in the same position.

Yes, i have also wanted to keep some dialog, slicing out as much as possible but i’ve never been able to get great results. Good sometimes but not super clean. In the past i’ve used some movie or tv dialog as samples (found vocals as it was called back in the days of ‘My Life in the Bush of Ghosts.) Best results i got were with Izotope Rx after i started using that program. Lots of EQ, spectral Noise Reduction. I would like to know how to get even cleaner results.

Thank yellowmix i didn't know that software. I'll give a try.
