What happened to the old IDM forum? Thats not the one I know. There was a decades worth of knowledge and advice on the old one.

What happened to the old IDM forum? Thats not the one I know. There was a decades worth of knowledge and advice on the old one.

Server went tits up (I believe wiped) circa Nov 2018. New one set up.
Real shame tbh, so much lost.
Regardless some ol nicks there, some old nicks under new nicks and some never returned.
There's also some activity on discord with the old members.
I think there maybe a new web launch coming with some of the old timers, but aside of that, I know very little more.

Yep I think there was some untoward internal financing with one of the admins who split off and did his own thing. Left the site to hang out to dry.
Strarted to take off again the. The whole thing got wiped.. Real shame.
I'll try and keep this thread in mind if and when things change or starry over.
The forums starting to build itself but personally it's lost its originally feel and attachment.
Like mentioned. A lot of valuable information.
That being said there's some great discord channels ab dither resources.
