Well, I like both Beatles and Laibach, though Laibach is not quite a music band and their covers are made with something else than just music in mind. Laibach takes are hit and miss with accent on miss, but Opus Dei is spot on, that one is just perfect, and to get it you need to listen to the original...Karbon L. I found the Slayer cover of Inna Gadda amusing, but I wonder if the effect on me is intentional humor I actually find it quite cornball.
That's why I like the stupid metal covers because the whole exercise is out of self-awareness.
