A member over at CM posted this vid showing off his prowess+ on a Fender Jazzmaster. The most inventive playing I've heard in a long time

More in focus? I loved it as it is and thought it matched his playing perfectly

The vid wasn't just thrown together so I assume the overall effect was deliberate.

I loved this song growing up. I never got into jazz back then rediscovered it when I started studying bebop. It drove me a guitarist mad because I knew I'd never even begin to cop it. Especially how Evans uses meter like white water rafting. Timing like that isn't chained to a mechanical beat.
