I'm going to explain/demonstrate the usefulness of sine and cosine for students (around 18 years old).
I was wondering if any of you could suggest some nice/cool music effects or sounds that are generated starting with a single sine or maybe a couple of sines. Clipping, filtering, modulation, everything is allowed as long as the starting point is a sine (or a few of them). I'm hoping to do a live demo where it is possible to change the sound by adjusting a few parameters. I don't have any synth experience myself although I have been lurking here for some time
