XT3 not seeing anything in my Program Files x86 folder. Possible bug?

Since I've had XT 2.7 in that folder and all my VSTs, clips and samples are there and 2.7 has always seen them, I assume XT3 should also. Something to do with this Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series laptop being a 64-bit machine?

Nope, nothing to do with 64 bit Operating System...
I guess you installed XT3 into another directory than XT2.7 was installed to...
This would mean that you need to do some setup first (File->Setup->Browser...)
Or - maybe easier - copy energyXT.ini from the directory where XT2.7 was installed to the directory where XT3 is installed.
Note: If you installed XT3 to 'Program Files' I would recommend to copy the whole XT3 installation directory to a directory where you have full write access to. (e.g.: 'My Documents' or 'Desktop'.). This is because XT3 will write to energyXT.ini.
