You can do it yourself, or spend money & save some of your time.
Big services sending a take-down notice may have more impact than a simple note you write yourself without the "correct" legal lingo.
But who knows... I'm just applying common sense, never had to do it.

I usually do it myself using a template revised from a lawyer and contacting the DMCA address. Works fine most of the time but if you need some professional services for that I can recommend Link Busters http://www.link-busters.com/

First you need to figure out who hosts the page you want to take down, eg with "whois - domaintools" (google that)
Then follow the procedure of the hosting provider.
