With Link active, Filter 2 doesn't follow Filter 1 when it's being controlled by MIDI CC. It only works when Filter 1 is adjusted with the mouse. Is there anyway to make the Link function work with MIDI control?
I get that under mouse control, Filter 2 will continue to respond to Filter 1 adjustments beyond Filter 1's control range, and this part of Link's behavior wouldn't work with a midi CC. It just seems like the Link tracking should at least to work over Filter 1's range with CC control.

The Link feature is a UI thing only. It can not somehow "under the hood" link knobs left and right (there are a whole lot of confusing implications if it were so...)
If you need to control both filter cutoffs from one CC, look at the XYs / Macro Controls. They work per preset and they're "non destructive", i.e. safe to use.
