Plugmon is the reason i bought Hive (combined with the WT update). So i would be really happy if Plugmon is involved with Hive 2 somehow.

Not to go way OT, but do you own Bazille and have you used that Plugmon skin? The changes he makes to the layout really makes it a completely different synth for me (in a positive way). Best skinning job I've seen on any synth because of the functional improvements it makes. Gets everything on one page, makes the modulations very easy to see, makes important controls larger, uses space very well, etc. Looking forward to what he does with Hive 2.0.

His skins are IMO the best I've ever seen. The Hive skin just makes so much sense. His Bazille Skin is also really well laid out. The Diva skin he made just looks cool, but doesn't change much. I asked him recently about doing Repro, and he said he might consider it. Frankly, Repro doesnt need an overhaul, but it would be nice to make a couple skins that look like the Prophet 6/Repro 5 and the Pro 2/Repro 1
That would be dope

While I respect Plugmon's skills and talents a great deal I'm really not a fan of his style. A bit too colorful for my taste. But I'll wait to see what he does for Hive 2.
I'm using satYatune's Spartan Grey skin for Hive 1.2.1 as it fits my style and preference quite well.

Hehehe, yes, but to be honest I have no idea if we have a deal or if the guys are negotiating. I'm not even sure if he has seen the current state of Hive 2 (which is still incomplete in terms of UI features).
Will know more after my vacation.

I only wish Plugmon chose better fonts, they don't look very good when scaled down and in 120-150% range.

Almost a complete noobie here to soft synths. I recently finished going thru all the presets for the Oberheim OPX Pro II, my 1st and only soft-synth purchase, which I had originally thought was the ultimate synth sound. It does sound great, but little did I know. Last week I stumbIed upon U-He and Hive. I'm listening to the various add-on soundsets videos, and whoah! Mind completely blown on how far things have come! This thing sounds flat out amazing. Nearly brought to tears on a few of those sounds. So I just downloaded the demo of Hive. (I was also demo-ing Arturia Pigments). Hours later and I'm ready to buy. Except for 1 thing... this GUI is so tiny on my 4K resolution, 13-inch laptop. Had to use the Windows magnifying glass to find the 200% GUI setting! And it's still too small.
Any chance that Hive 2.0 will have a 250% or 300% GUI setting? A drag-able resize option would be awesome.
(Still stumbling around in my free bundled version of Tracktion Waveform 8. Getting there slowly!)

The Gearporn skin is still my favorite... The Plugmon skin is a close second.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: ↑Sun Mar 31, 2019 1:19 am Not to go way OT, but do you own Bazille and have you used that Plugmon skin? Thing with UI resolution is, the more pixels there are, the more CPU and/or memory it uses, particularly when increasing the user feedback. It's fine as long as you have only few windows open, but we need to compromise for people who like to have a dozen open at a time. Also, we like to be able to open a window in less than a second, if possible.
It might have become a non-issue on newer systems though. It wouldn't be a big deal for us to check higher resolutions out, but I'm a bit reluctant as of today...

Thanks for the quick reply! I suppose I could just reset my screen to a lower resolution, but that messes with the placement of half my icons on the desktop. Or get another laptop or 2nd monitor. But 4K screen resolutions are the future!
I also checked out Zebra 2 last night. Wow! Now I'm gonna have to buy both of 'em.
