I don't have an amp. Ha! Ha!

Seriously? In case you wonder, I only have a few pedals switched on at any time.

There was a mole in my pedal board, I dug it up. Now banned to the bass division. If it fails to impress there too, I'm gonna put it up for sale.

Mine is on the way - I orderd it last Fri, and it was "out of stock" for a while (thanks for the heads up khanyz - on the "no chat" thread) - but now on it's way ;-)
I sent this back. It sounds like crap here. I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the pedal - maybe it's because I don't go in to a real amp (I go into a Warm Audio 1073 clone, then the audio interface and amp/speaker sim) or there's something else in my setup that it doesn't like.
It just has a horrible harsh sound that -just about- goes away with the tone knob all the way down. It sounds OK with a TS driving it, but nothing special, and nothing that I can't get with another pedal.
Oh well, I'm sure someone else will enjoy it - especially at that price.
Keep your eye on the Thomann site, they should get it some time this week ;)

Chase Bliss Audio's Preamp MKII now available for pre-order ($749).

"combine the DNA of Benson Amps’ Chimera in a box Preamp with a little fuzz, some of Condor’s resonant parametric mids, and full blown preset control" + motorized faders to massage your toes!

Jesus. Chase Bliss sure do charge. Each to their own, of course, but ... wow.

True that. But their hybrid pedals have a lot to offer, I had been wondering when their presets would give rise to the arrival of motorized controls. And for some this new pedal may be justifiable, cost-wise, if it replaces fuzz + eq + amp sim. I imagine the presets make it handy on stage.

this is true.
but ive never heard anyone who bought one, complain afterwards. theres so much in each pedal with all the dip switches and such, that it covers a huge sonic range.

not for everyone admittedly, but you do get what you pay for :)

I suspect those that keep theirs wouldn’t be keen on admitting it, if the pedals so happened to be less than stellar value. :p

But nonetheless, I do also hear all over the place that they’re very good indeed. So hey, if people want to spend as much on one pedal as some do on actually decent guitars or amps? I have no problem with that. It’s just not for me, even though I totally can afford them.

We sold a MIDIverb II for $59 the other day. That's a great unit for all those shoegaze reverse reverb effects.

Meh, that's nothing compared to the new Nektar pads someone showed me today...

I got this thanks to the Kickstarter campaign, it's an amazing book about pedals, that someone with GAS should handle with precaution
