CL4P Maker, (https://www.2getheraudio.com/instruments/cl4p_maker/), is a first-of-its-kind virtual instrument dedicated to creating and playing an infinite variety of handclap sounds. Originally made popular by the Roland TR808 and TR909 drum machines, handclap sounds are utilized extensively in hip hop, pop, R&B, and electronic dance music of all styles. CL4P Maker builds on this tradition by offering music producers an extended collection of handclap sounds with the added ability to make their own electronic handclap sounds.

Under the hood, CL4P Maker uses a custom audio engine built from Qubiq Audio’s struQture platform. (https://www.qubiqaudio.com/) It uses several customized noise oscillators to generate the initial sound of clapping followed by custom envelope, gate and filter circuits to shape and color the tone. Additional drive and compression circuits add optional drive, color and presence. Effects, including bit crushing, decimation, and low pass and high pass filters add more possibilities for extra character or refinement of the spectral content. Finally, a simple reverb is included to allow for ambiance control.

For those without the time or expertise to fine tune all these parameters, CL4P Maker offers a Simple View which exposes just four sound control knobs, 4 effects buttons and 3 reverb options for quickly dialing in your sound. When needed, and Expert View takes you under the hood for finer control.

CL4P Maker supports 64-bit VST, AU, AAX capable DAWs. It is Mac and Windows compatible. CL4P Maker is released under 2getheraudio's Pay-What-You-Want (minimum $10) business model so nearly all musicians, regardless of their ability to pay, have access to this software. A free trial is available at https://www.2getheraudio.com/instruments/cl4p_maker/.

Both this and the Kick plugin are crashing and not able to be easily deleted in the normal manner on a Reaper project when in demo mode. Any ideas why?
