Just a quick note to say I love the continuous support on this great controller. I have been away from music making the past few months due to personal circumstances but am back in the game.. Oh and I personally would prefer feedback here.
@Yokai, Did you get 2.5 b7 to work? What went wrong?

Keep up the good work

Yes, dgmulf's newest controller template works fine. You have to manually add it to the set of activated controllers in Settings > Controllers, and you have to manually assign the MIDI in/out drop-downs to your MF Twister, but after that it works fine overall. Really nice usability improvements, very intuitive layout.

There are some bugs with the 4th "User" page, though, which I've reported as new issues over on dgmulf's GitHub page.

@dgmulf
Thanks a lot for supporting this controller!

I checked version 1.0. Besides of Yokai's comment three other things I would mentions:
- If you scroll tracks with the 1st encoder and there are tracks with folders, please consider if the folder is opened or closed. If opened -> go to first child track, if closed to the next track on the same level.
- the same is for nested devices... If these are opened, i would love to be able to select them via "device selecton" encoder.
- and after new track selection it would be great to get devices actually selected as soon as you rotate/touch "device selection"encoder. Otherwise it is very hard to see what is currently selected. Or make this new behaviour at least optional.
Personally, I would even prefer that the very first device is selected as soon as you select a new track.

Is it not possible to access the individual channels of multi-output vst's? I only seems to be possible to control the main channel's controls.

(ARG! - just typed up a whole long post filled with gushing appreciation for how generally awesome y'all have been on this thread, then navigated away for a sec to get a link, came back to find KVR helpfully refreshing my page... Lesson learned!)

Right: so, I have a brand new MFT, using the script from Alex's GH repo. And it seems that there might be some fixes - particularly in the smoothness side of the encoders behavior? - incorporated into what Daniel (dgmulf?) did with it, yeah? Here:

Anyhow, I CAN download the zip of all the content there, but then I don't know how to turn those Java files into the stuff I need to USE all that on my Macbook.

Help?!?!? I'm solid with executing stuff in Terminal. I'm guessing this all gonna be pretty obvious but my Googling takes me instantly into coding rabbit holes that may as well be Greek, to me... 😬🤓😬

Strange there is not already a compiled version there like the readme says there should be :D... If you are gonna go deep check the intelij thread or follow Mosses instructions for setting up an IDE to compile it. Maybe try emailing the dude to why the extension is just not there...

Please help!
I love the work that's been put into the MFT for bitwig. But I have an issue, on my midi fighter twister, the banks change but all the parameters are the same! It doesn't go unto mixer mode or user customizable page. It only stick on the 1st page. I'm running bitwig 4.4.3 on windows 10.
Anything I need to change in the mf utility ? I'm just uploading the .mfs file that's in the latest releases. I've tried both the one by Axel and the one from dgmulf.
Any help would be greatly appreciated ✌️🤙

Just stumbled about this thread. Maybe the Bitwig extension found in this repository might be interesting for you as well:
https://github.com/Trinitou/MidiFighterTwisterXT

It provides cool bi-directional control for the MFT but as a tradeoff you have to use a custom firmware that enables these features. Would be happy about feedback (in the form of PM or github discussion/issues/pull requests) ;)
("bi-directional" means: you don't have to deal with/are limited to the 4 pages at all, that are provided by the standard firmware. Also the LEDs adapt to track colors and so on...)

That's dope AF. The Firmware looks legit too. Good documentation as well. Might have to use this.

I've been using Twister Sister (viewtopic.php?t=562511&hilit=twister) for quite a while and it works really really well. There is a little bit of a learning curve but after an hour or so I was away and very happy :)

I'd definetly recommend taking a look, although Trinitou's setup looks worth checking as well.
