Arpeggiator and Hold/Sustain?

If I use the Arpeggiator and activate Sustain/Hold, only a single last note plays after releasing the fingers. Is there a way to have an "arp hold" with all played notes?

Hi Herr Mosa,
The default function of the sustain pedal is to sustain notes as on a piano, whether they are played live or from the Arpeggiator. The function you desire is called “arpeggiator latch” and you can reassign either foot pedal or either panel switch to this function. To learn how, open the Panel Settings page, Global Settings tab, and search for “arpeggiator latch”.

Huh. I was looking for this too, and it's not working for me:
I select Global Settings, choose (e.g.) Switch 1 to assign, hold down Tap Tempo... and the display comes up TAP as promised.
When I try to slide with one finger, it lets me slide left to select MUTE and slide right to select TAP, but there are no other options. I can sometimes get it to jump to CLK or LEG if I swipe with my whole palm across the surface, but no further than that.
Am I not swiping correctly? I seem to recall using a swipe to set another setting before, and having no trouble...?
Thanks in advance,
mike

Are you running OS 2.2.1?
Are you dragging your finger across a single row and not diagonally?
You mentioned the value changing from TAP to MUTE, which are the first and last options with 9 options between. Are you sliding your finger very fast over many more pads? If so, try slowing sliding. You should see each next option as you cross each note pad.
Does this same problem occur at any position on the playing surface? For example, does the problem not occur when dragging your finger (to change the selection) in the upper left or upper right or lower left or lower right area of the playing surface?

Thank you very much, Roger! Your analysis above provided me with an excellent tutorial on how the LS wants to see swiping gestures. It turns out that my problem was swipe speed, I was going much too fast. When I slowed it way down, the selection worked as expected. Still learning...
