Is Linnstrument a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 device?

I am reading that a 5 meter UBC cable can be used if a device is a USB 3.0 device, while up to a 3 meter cable can be used if the device is a USB 2.0 device.

I don't recall which it is, but probably USB 2. I'd say try the cable and see if you get any problems.

I have used 15m USB cables and 30m Midi cables without any problems. USB 2 should be less of a problem than USB 3, as the bandwidth they have to support is smaller, but if you take an USB 3 cable you should be on the safe side with longer distances. They cary USB 2 signals without a problem... (for Midi USB 1 would be sufficient...)
